Boarding Schools used to be the privilege of the rich and wealthy but this is no longer the case. Boarding schools can cost as little as £8,500 in some UK schools where there is no tuition fee, only a boarding fee. For overseas students life in an English boarding school can be interesting, happy and fulfilling with the added advantage of full immersion into the English way of life and greater opportunity to learn English as a Second Language and complete a first class education. All boarding schools offer overseas pupils the opportunity to study Special English as part of a group or on a one-to-one basis with private English classes.

A Simple Solution is fortunate to work very closely with several English Boarding schools offering three distinct programmes:

Two 3-week 'English Summer Schools/Summer Schools in England' programmes for overseas students aged 11 - 18 years.

Contacts to leading boarding schools offering International Baccalaureate/IB together with nationally recognised and vetted guardianships

The opportunity for overseas students to learn English at UK Schools to enable them to develop English as a second language and acquire advanced English Language Skills.

ENGLISH SUMMER SCHOOLS/SUMMER SCHOOLS IN ENGLAND

On the 'A simple Solution' site we cover our 'English Summer Schools/Summer Schools in England' programmes in depth on another page (please click Summer School on the navigation bar). However, very briefly the programmes are designed to enable overseas pupils/students to learn English at UK Schools and develop their English Language skills in a safe and secure environment. In addition to the programme our schools offer overseas students the opportunity to attend Special English classes at a very small extra cost. Private English classes can be arranged at an additional cost if parents require.

Our English Summer Schools/Summer Schools in England programmes are our most popular and early booking is essential to ensure a place. We believe these programmes enabling overseas students to learn English at UK schools is unique.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE/IB

A Simple Solution is fortunate to work with leading UK Boarding Schools that offer International Baccalaureate/IB courses. Overseas students on these courses who are new to the country are given the opportunity to study intensive English at Special English courses. These courses are designed to help overseas students acquire the necessary English Language skills to ensure complete success when studying International Baccalaureate/IB courses.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS/SPECIAL ENGLISH COURSES

All the boarding schools we work with recognise that some overseas students may need significant help with their English Language skills when they arrive in this country and consequently organise Special English where overseas study intensive English. In addition, private English classes based upon one-to-one tuition are also available.
