MARIA SANCHEZ GOMEZ-MARTINHO - 2009

My three weeks in England were great. I think that the school was more fun than the boarding house because we did more activities.
The best dayof all was my 15 birthday. I got two birthday cakes and we also went to play golf.
I have improved my English by talking with British people which is an oportunity that not many people could have. If I could, I would want to return next year.
During the three weeks, I made a diary which contains all my experiences there, so if you want it Icould send it you.

I wish you a happy summer, María

Sara! - 2009

Thanks for the email. I have spent a good time in England.
Although it has been my first time I travel abroad, I made a lot of English, Chinesse, French and Italian friends. There was a lot of polite and friendly people ready to help us at school.

We practiced a lot of English because we had to talk always with English people and my English is much better now.
The best thing about that is that I have learnt a lot of English expressions that I don´t learn at the English class of my school.
I´d like to go back to this school next year. I want to repeat that experience.
Sorry about answer your e-mail so later.

PAULA SOLASCASAS – 2009

I really enjoyed the time I spent in England.

It's been a very useful experience: I have met many nice people and I have improved my level of English. What I have liked the best is the time spent at the Boarding House with the other boarders, and the posibility of speaking in English with native speakers.
I have also liked the trips we have done during the weeks. The first days were a little confused, but then all returned to normal.

I really would like to come back to Dallam next year, if my parents agree.
I hope you have a nice summer,

Paula

SARA BARTOLOME – 2009

I enjoyed a lot this summer.

The first days were different to the rest of the other days.

Some days we were on trips, we were to Lancaster Castle, Blackpool, the Zoo, the Lakes.
The other days we were to the school. I liked it, it was so big and people was so nice with us.
My buddyfriend was wonderful, she was with me always and she explained me everything and she spoke to me slowly.
We were to school in minibus, we had to take it at 8:30 then when we arrived to school we were to registration at 8:50, we had to do two classes before the break and one hour more of class. At 12:15 was the lunch and finally we had to do two hours of classes. We took the minibus again to come back to the boarding.
At 17:20 was the dinner and the rest of the evening we were on the computer with the prep or in the grass or in the swimming pool.
We made a lot of friends from England, China, Germany and Italy.

I hope you have a good summer and thanks - I would go again.

Javier Sánchez Valiente - 2009

This has been my third time in England and I think the one I enjoyed most. I think this was the best school and people there were very nice and kind. I would like to come back next year. Anyway I learned quite a lot of English. It was a bit strange for me having tea at half five. Also the food was…”English”. We did a lot of trips (paintballing, ice-skating, theme park, bowling…) and I loved those trips. Our Spanish group fitted perfectly and we made very good friends. The school was very good as well. It was big, with a nice field and lots of different lessons and activities. Definitely, I loved it!!!

Alba – 2009

I´m so sorry to answer so late but I was in the beach where I had no computer there.
Well, my experience in Dallam School was unforgettable. In fact I wished that it lasted more than three weeks.
At school all the students were very nice and I made a lot of friends who send me emails now. One of my English friends wants me to go to France with her.The teachers were kind and I learned a lot during the lessons.
At the boarding house the people were nice too.
The activities I did were funny and many of these things I´ve never done before like canoeing, sail in a boat or walk about eighteen kilometers.

I don´t know if next year I´ll come back there, because maybe my friend come to Spain with me or I go to France to practise my French (I don´t have French at school anymore),but I enjoyed so much my holidays in England and improved my English very much .Thank you a lot.

SANDRA BLAZQUEZ MILLAN - 2009

I hope you wanna know more than two lines about the trip, so I am gonna tell you what I think and what I feel.
This trip was the best that Ihave had ever. I think is the best school that I know.

All the things that happened, bad and good things, were a really good experience to learn about everything. The people that came with me were excellent, the best gang with I have gone ever.
The people at the boarding house were excellent too, they were with us a really big part of the time; speaking, doing jokes and silly things all the time; we loved that. We made a lot of relationships with people in the school.

I felt, since the second day there, that the trip would be the best one, and is true. I had feelings and thoughts that I haven´t had ever. Everything (people, boarding house, school, situations, emotions, activities ...) made this trip a dream.
Sometimes the Spanish people were speaking about England and the trip and I asked them if they will come again next summer and they said: Yes, of course I won´t think about it two times.

The activities were really good, but if we are going to go next year the same gang (Álvaro, Javier, Sara, Ana, Santiago, Ana, Riardo and me) it would be nice to have different activities.

Thank you because the trip.
Sandra

ANA - 2009

I want to tell you this has been my first time in an English summer school. Particularly I liked this school a lot: people were so friendly, the boarding house was very cosy, the trips were fun enough… The only thing I didn´t like was the food: it was so different to what I eat, and the timetable was early too!

In the beginning, I didn´t understand so much. I´ll tell you something funny(confidential): I tried to speak English the best I could, and to begin no-one understood. After a few days, I got to understand a more and could speak a lot and I can tell you the experience has been positive.

Please, Lina save a place for me for the next summer.
Best regards,
Ana
