Summer Schools in England (11-16 Years of Age)
Our Residential Summer Schools in England (11-16 years) programme provides a safe and stimulating environment for overseas students aged 11 to 16. The programme encourages students to develop their English Language skills and allows them to experience an English way of life along with the English culture. Overseas students on this programme often make strong friendships and enjoy educational and leisure time experiences that they never forget.
Our 11-16 years of age programme is, we believe, unique. We work with English boarding schools to offer 3 weeks of full time English Education together with 3 weeks of living in the boarding house following the same routines and procedures as full time boarders. Overseas students on this programme are never bored. They participate in the same leisure time activities as full time boarders and have a great time. Usually there is a significant improvement in their English Language speaking and listening skills by the end of the 3 weeks programme.

Summer Schools in England (11-16 Years of Age)
We have a gallery of photographs illustrating how students have enjoyed Summer Schools in England during the summer of 2011.
The programme offers overseas students the opportunity to:
a) Follow full national curriculum alongside a class of full time pupils their own age.
b) Become full time members of the boarding house while attending the school.
c) Follow the routines and schedules of the boarding house. Have full access to all the boarding house facilities. They also take part in the same weekend activities and go on the same trips as full time boarders.
On arrival overseas students are allocated a 'buddy' who is a full time member of the school and/or boarding house to help them settle into the daily routines of the school.
English Boarding Schools ensure that each full time boarder experiences the boarding house as a 'home from home' and they do exactly the same for our overseas students. Students on this programme will have full access to boarding facilities such as snooker, board games, sports facilities, extensive grounds, football, swimming, bowling, cinema, etc.
At the weekends there is usually an organised trip that may include site-seeing, trips to a theme park, trips to the beach, shopping, mountain bike riding, trips to places of local interest.
Accommodation
Students will be fully residential living in the school's boarding house alongside full time boarders. The Boarding Houses are either in their own grounds or adjoined to the school. Sleeping accommodation depends upon availability but is likely to be shared along with bathroom facilities. There is shared living room accommodation with TV, music facilities, etc. Laundry facilities and snacks are available. Boarding staff are available 24 hours a day to take care of students and offer any assistance students may need.
Meals
Food is prepared daily and includes a selection of healthy breakfasts, lunches (at school Monday to Friday) and evening meals. There will be a choice available at each meal time and if students have a special dietary requirement the boarding houses can cater for it. On the days there are excursions students will be given a packed lunch.
