Work experience placement, English Language skills, A Simple Solution

A Simple Solution provides a high quality work experience placement programme in UK. It is aimed at all overseas students but currently works mainly with Spanish graduates/undergraduates. Work placements can be anywhere in UK and usually last for a period of 4-6 weeks. We are currently looking for companies to host our students. English Language skills are a global requirement and A Simple Solution offers graduates/undergraduates the opportunity to focus on learning English in a business context. This opportunity can be taken as a stand-alone course or as part of a work placement.

Candidates for work placement are often in their early/mid years of university study (although it is not unusual to have older students and graduates apply for a placement). Candidates need to have plenty of enthusiasm and interest in the world of work. English speaking skills need to be intermediate to good and candidates need to be keen to develop their English and work based skills in a professional environment whilst being keen to take part in the every day work of the company.

Candidates must first of all email us to indicate interest and request more information and will then have to submit a letter of application and CV written in English. A photograph must be attached to either the letter or the CV. It will be necessary for the candidate to take part in a minimum of one UK telephone interview. Candidates need to be very well presented with good inter-personal skills and will either have successfully completed a degree course or will still be in full time university study.

Work Experience - AIMS a) To place candidates in a dynamic, professional working environment for 4-6 weeks during summer months. b) To offer candidates the opportunity to develop good working practises alongside work colleagues and under the guidance of professional supervision. c) To offer companies the opportunity to begin the process of good working practices in young professionals. d) To ensure the work experience is of mutual benefit to the company and the candidate.	Work Experience - OBJECTIVES a) To offer candidates a good quality work experience where they are given the opportunity to develop their English speaking skills. b) To offer candidates an introduction into the world of work there they begin to learn professional practices and values. c) To offer companies the services of a young, enthusiastic professional for a period of 4-6 weeks during summer months. d) To offer companies the opportunity to begin the process of grooming young professionals for their future in their chosen profession.	Work Experience - PROCESS a) Candidate submits letter of application and CV with photograph. b) Candidate attend office-based interview. c) Candidate has telephone interview with a person in UK. d) Successful candidates have their letter of application and CV submitted to interested companies.
